A product of Ludum Dare, with the them of ‘Alone‘. I really liked the theme of this LD48, the game was rushed and fun to make – literally all of it was produced in that 48 hour window. I remember I was actually ill at the time (I seem to always be ill during jams… strange…) so I only half arsedly pushed through development.
On reflection, I’d say that Paper Dream was a foreshadow of Chroma, the core idea opened my mind to possibilities. Pretty cool to think about it now. It’s a pretty weird little game, buggy, not clear what to do etc. But I liked making it, and even now it’s pretty cool just to float around in that little world and check stuff out, maybe move some stars.
